Wear and tear has its limits—we've pushed them further.
We are delighted to unveil, at the EPHJ 2026 trade show, azunova: a watch bearing with high magnetic permeability, exceptional precision, and extreme durability.
The benefits of an Azunova home:

The inner ring consists of two cores nested one inside the other, which are then joined by ultrasonic welding along their inner surfaces: the joint is extensive, robust, and does not allow no visible welds. The axial play is controlled and adjusted through successive adjustments with intermediate measurements, up to a tolerance of ±2 µm, whereas a conventional bearing has a tolerance of around ±4 µm.
Architecture is realused in alloys with high magnetic permeability and the marbles in ceramics. A tribological finish DLC, which is hardening and self-lubricating, coats the entire structure: it reduces friction, slows wear, protects against corrosion, and reduces operating noise.
Watch brands' ongoing quest for greater precision and reliability led us to design and bring this solution to market.
Tests confirm the system’s robustness: axial load-bearing capacity ranging from 20 to 200 N after assembly, and stable performance under load and over time. azunova adapts to existing structures and integrates into new projects.
