The microtechnical expertise required for the manufacture of stamping tools and the production of stamped parts was never lost at Azurea...because the story could have been quite different! This knowledge was first strongly developed and then left aside for several decades. In 2012, the strategy of independence and verticalization pursued by the Azurea Group, led Azurea Technologie Horlogere SA to fully relaunch the cutting activity, drawing on in-house micromechanical and design skills. Since then, numerous investments have been made to ensure that the company's technology and infrastructure are in line with its ambitions.
In January 2023, the stamping workshop of Azurea Technologie Horlogere SA became Azurea Decoupage SA, the fifth company in the Azurea Group. Nine people with advanced micromechanical skills contribute to the design and manufacture of stamps. Azurea Decoupage also produces, finishes and assembles stamped components. This range of skills enables us to offer a complete service to our customers, whether in the watchmaking, medical or more general microtechnology sectors.
The official inauguration took place on this 1er October, in the presence of Azurea's employees, management team members, company directors and representatives of the institutions that have contributed to the success of the project.
